Letter to American Humanist Soc
Dear Sir: Why is it that anyone who harbors skepticism about claims of human induced global warming is a “denier(s)”? The global warming frenzy is not settled science because there is no such thing as settled science. True science is always subject to review and revision. The currently accepted measurable science that the moon is moving away from the earth at about one inch each year is nonetheless subject to constant recalculation and review. The problem is that the issues of creationism versus evolution, the “fossil gap” and whether the moon is leaving us at one inch per year or something more or less will not have an economic impact here and now while reaction to “human induced global warming” will profoundly and adversely affect humanity. Cap and Trade, carbon taxes and a multitude of government mandates along with hundreds of billions of dollars this administration is proposing to give to developing countries, think China and India, will have a horrendous negative economic impact on our country. We owe it to ourselves to be skeptics
